A lifelong performer from a family of musicians, Ryan started playing professionally at seventeen and later earned a Bachelor of Music in Jazz and Contemporary Popular Music (with distinction) from MacEwan University. His years working with Alberta's top entertainment companies and cover bands give him real command across every genre. As founder of Rhythm and Harmony Entertainment, Ryan built his business on professionalism, quality, and respect. His goal is simple: an over-the-top experience at a reasonable price that keeps your dance floor packed all night.

Hi, I'm Ryan McEathron, the DJ and sound engineer behind Rhythm and Harmony Entertainment. Music has been part of my life since childhood — I grew up in a family of musicians and was performing professionally around Calgary by age 17. That early stage experience turned into a full career: I spent years playing in Calgary's top cover bands, working as a live sound technician, and teaching music lessons before heading to MacEwan University in Edmonton, where I earned my Bachelor of Music in Jazz and Contemporary Popular Music (with distinction).
While at MacEwan, I started DJing for some of Alberta's largest entertainment companies, and by the time I graduated I'd already worked over 500 weddings, corporate events, and parties. That mix of formal music training and real dance-floor experience is what sets me apart — I'm comfortable with any genre, I know how to read a room, and I can keep guests engaged all night long.
As a mobile DJ, I bring professional-grade sound and lighting for groups up to 300 people, confident emceeing, and — if you want it — interactive extras like ice breaker games to get everyone involved. Whether it's a wedding, corporate function, or private party, my goal is simple: deliver a polished, reliable, and genuinely fun experience at a fair price.

LED lights are pretty easy on power these days, so as long as I have access to a couple regular power outlets we shouldn't have any problems!
My set lists are custom tailored to each event. Music I play at one event, might not be played at all at another! It totally depends what vision you have for your event.
