Vocalist Rene Taylor is a true Tucson treasure. She has captivated audiences locally as well as nationally and internationally. Rene’s earliest female jazz influences were Peggy Lee, Sarah Vaughn, Julie London, and Ella Fitzgerald.
Rene has performed on cruise ships, black tie affairs, at 35,000 feet en route to Europe, The Great Theatre in Ephesus, Turkey and at Borgo San Fedele in Tuscany Italy. She has performed at venues in Hawaii as well as various sized venues in the mainland US. Rene has performed multiple times with Jeff Haskell and the U OF A Jazz Band. She has been the headliner at galas and she has performed for a host of private parties. Rene performed weekly at Pastiche Modern Eatery with rave reviews. Rene performs solo with backing tracks which were recorded in the UK. Rene loves to sing and she’ll put on an outstanding show for you!
I use a Bose Compact L-1 system and a wireless Shure Beta 58 microphone, AirTurn DUO pedal and blue tooth connectivity. I have my own lighting.
