Redmond brings the same motivation and attitude that helped him win CBS's Triumph Games, 17 medals in track and swimming, and race around the world on CBS's The Amazing Race. He shows the audience how he chose to succeed through his struggle and how others can do the same.
"Redmond came and did a last minute speech for my elementary school. The children, as well as the children loved him. Redmond's ability to connect with the students left tears in the eyes of the teachers.
Redmond left a lasting , memorable impression with the students."
Response from Redmond Ramos: Amazing Race:
Thank you so much, Miss Kimberly!
I was honored to be able to speak to your school.
Thank you very much for the opportunity.
Redmond was the Master of Ceremonies for our 9/11 Heroes Run 5K race that supports the Travis Manion Foundation. Prior to the race, Red was proactive and responsive to ensure a full understanding of the script and timeline. Upon arrival on the morning of the race, Red displayed immediate enthusiasm and offered to help before runners arrived. Although his role was MC, Red started moving boxes and helping wherever he could. As an MC, Red drew the crowd’s attention with his stage presence. He is confident, poised, and energetic. He tells a meaningful story and adds humor to keep the crowd engaged. Our timeline changed just minutes before opening ceremonies began and Red was flexible and helpful in ensuring the day ran smoothly. Red was also great with kids who wanted to meet the Amazing Race contestant they were routing for. We couldn’t have asked for a better host for our 5K race and we would recommend Red to anyone looking for a powerful, respectful, and passionate motivational speaker. We look forward to working with Red in the future!
Redmond brought an incredible amount of enthusiasm and professionalism to our event. He is an inspirational speaker who evokes just the right emotions at just the right time. We will absolutely request that he speak at another TMF event of ours in the future and we encourage you to do the same!

Redmond was so fun and great to work with for a meeting I have for my management team with my company. He was funny and interesting. He had a way of making everyone feel comfortable and at ease. He was full of energy and had a really great aura around himself. He was fantastic.

What to Expect
Speaking is my passion. It is not just "Speaking" to me. I helped people directly while I was a Navy Corpsman combat medic with The Marines. Now I help people indirectly by helping others realize that they can succeed through any struggle. I do not just talk the talk. I walk the walk. I use real world personal examples from my military experience. my experience of getting blown up and losing my leg, my experience of competing on and winning CBS's Triumph games, and my experience of competing for 11 episodes on The Amazing Race.
After losing his leg after stepping on an IED in Afghanistan as a combat medic, Redmond decided to keep pushing harder than ever to prove that anyone can Succeed through their Struggle.
"I started training my juniors and seniors in military medicine while in the military. After I was blown up- my attitude set me apart. I was often asked to get up and speak for everyone before or after running 5ks or other races. After I started volunteering for The Elizabeth Hospice speaking and EMCEEing for them- I realized that speaking was my true passion."

Influences & Inspiration
I have too many influences to list but I will say a few.
1. My mom for living what she preached. A hard working single mom of 4 kids. She always showed gratitude and strength no matter the surroundings.
2. Martin Luther King for standing up and fighting for what he believed was right
3. Noah Galloway for showing that people with disabilities can be strong mentors and role models.
