Red Sun

Expect an energetic live band that will leave an impression on your guests. We enjoy playing music as much as we enjoy making it. Anytime we get on stage we not only come together a musicians, but as entertainers.

Red Sun, an alternative band that hails from Riverside California. Our music has similar tones to that of the Black Keys, Cage the Elephant, and Chevelle.

The story began in 2015 when guitarist Zach White invited long time friend and bassist John Botts to a jam session with drummer Matt Lusk. The three of them reached out to a long time friend of both Matt and Zach, Dylan Fernandez, who would fill the role of lead vocals and piano.

Throughout the 2015 and going into 2016 they were practicing twice a week trying to become the best musicians that they could be. However in October of 2016 Red Sun went into a brief hiatus due to unforeseen circumstances. This hiatus only lasted until the summer of 2017 where they picked up right where they left off. In the fall of 2017 Red Sun went into the recording studio and laid down tracking for the first 4 songs of their Demo EP. Shortly after releasing the Demo EP, Red Sun started booking shows in Hollywood to test out this material for the first time in a live setting. Those shows would go down in Red Sun history,

Red Sun is a fairly new band with intentions to branch out to reach new fans, explore new music, and create a close, intimate bond with their fans. As for 2018 they look forward to new music, new fans, and energetic live shows.
