"A Journey Through The 80s" is our signature rock show, featuring covers from Journey and many other great 80s pop and rock bands. Our setlist includes songs like Footloose, Nothing But a Good Time, and much more. But, our main focus is covering Journey songs like nobody else in Florida.
We pride ourselves in getting the crowd dancing and singing along. With our focus on excellence and accuracy, we keep the crowd engaged, playing hit after hit. Matt, our lead singer, will make sure the audience is having a great time while he hits every note....yes, even those Steve Perry high notes!

Our typical show consists of 3 powerful sets of 12 - 14 songs each. Our first set is a powerhouse, designed to get the party started. And, we end every set with a bang! The second set is typically our biggest set. By now, your guests are dancing and having a great time singing along with us. Set 3 is where we sign off with big, powerful hits and end the night on a high note!
Our main focus is energy. We carefully select songs that hit the mark. If songs don't move the crowd or get people singing along, we get rid of them. So, our setlist is covered with hits!
Matt, our front-man will engage with the crowd. Often, you will see him get off the stage and sing along with the crowd, sometimes even sharing the microphone. The guitarists work carefully to cover every possible part of the song so the sound is full and melodic. And, our rhythm section are tight and solid, keeping things rolling along at the right pace.
Covering high-energy party rock from the 80s, 90s, and more, Red Ruckus is a party rock band that doesn't shy away from the big hits you love. With powerful vocals, crushing guitar solos, and punchy rhythm, Red Ruckus will bring the energy and fun that your event needs.
We can provide lighting and a full sound system big or small enough for your event.
We only need a stage and some reliable power to run our equipment.
Our main influences are the massive rock bands from the late 70s through to the 2000s. Our niche is performing songs that require great vocals as well as a strong musical performance. Bands like Journey, Aerosmith, AC/DC, Matchbox 20, Goo Goo Dolls are featured on the setlist.
But, we also enjoy covering songs from artists like Tom Petty, Billy Joel, and Lenny Kravitz. Our setlists are designed to bring energy, but we don't sacrifice the performance quality. We focus on staying true to the song as much as possible, but to bring our own feel and DNA into the mix.
