July 25, 2018After weeks of looking and listening to singers that weren't quite right for my demo session, I was lucky enough to find Rebecca. Not only does she fire on all cylinders, and keys, vocally and energetically, but once we went to work it was obvious that she had put in real prep time and effort, and that made a huge difference to the experience and outcome.

Rebecca Mimiaga has been studying voice since age 11. She started writing and performing her own music at age 16, while fronting various rock, folk and blues bands. She spent two years studying classical voice at Skidmore College before transferring to the New School For Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York City. There, she completed her BFA in Vocal Performance studies.
Rebecca sings all genres and styles. Additionally, she writes and performs with two original projects around the Bay Area and New York City: "Rebecca Mimiaga" - cinematic, chamber pop featuring strings, voice and piano, and "LOUIZA", her indie-alternative rock band.
