Alan played for my Father's Funeral & Memorial. He has exemplary professional prowess in his presence, performance and overall personality! He was attentive, and right on the mark for his time and quick wit to help work with the tight deadline and workarounds, and he gave my family and I a magnificent memory we'll never forget. Every one of us felt the pipes to our core. A true scottsman, and an honorable 🎖 man. Piper Alan I would recommend highly to anyone, and I'd call upon him again for the Pipes! About
About Me...
I was born in Glasgow, Scotland and enlisted in the British Army in 1976, joining the Royal Highland Fusiliers, where I first learned to play the bagpipes, thereafter the 1/52 Lowland Regiment. I eventually ended up in Edinburgh and joined the South Queensferry Pipes and Drums. I have played in many different countries including Germany, Holland, France, Spain, South Africa, Austria, Poland, China and Canada.
I moved to Canada in 2008 where I joined (link hidden)drews Pipes & Drums and enjoyed a brief spell as Pipe Major to the band. I currently reside in Etobicoke and am the Pipe Sergeant with the Toronto Fire Services Pipes and Drums. I have had many great honors including Piping the Stanley Cup for David Bolland, playing on stage with the Headstones and Piping for The Duchess of York, Lady Sarah Ferguson.
