Overview

My name is Quentin Frost, and I am the creator of a solo experimental metalcore project called Reaching For You. I specialize in blending aggressive guitar work with atmospheric melodies and emotional heaviness for a sound like no other. Performances include live guitar and professional backing tracks for a full-band feel minus the vocals for a purely instrumental show.

What to expect

Audiences can expect a high-energy, heavy metalcore performance. built around live guitar combined with professionally produced backing tracks for a full-band experience. I bring crushing riffs, aggressive rhythms, melodic leads, and dynamic transitions that capture the intensity of modern metalcore—even as a solo act.

My setup is clean and efficient, using high-quality backing tracks to fill out drums, bass, and ambience while I perform all guitar parts live. This gives the audience the depth and power of a full metalcore band with the consistency and precision of a solo performance.

What clients can expect:
• A heavy, engaging metalcore set with big breakdowns and melodic elements
• Professional backing tracks that deliver a full, immersive sound
• Live guitar performance with strong stage presence and energy
• Set lengths tailored to the event, up to 1 hour maximum
• Clear communication, punctuality, and a professional attitude throughout the entire booking

My goal is always to make the performance seamless for the client and memorable for the audience—bringing intensity, emotion, and a polished metalcore sound to every stage.

About

My name is Quentin Frost, I am 20 years old, and I am a multi instrumentalist. My main instrument, guitar, I have been playing for a little over 8 years now. I record all the tracks in my music from scratch, trying to captivate what I feel into the art I create. I chose to go down the path of music creation and production because it is my way of communicating the most complicated emotions that I feel, and I aim to convey my message to as many people are open to hearing it. Growing up in a household of aspiring musicians where music is valued has taught me to love and appreciate all types of music, and to be able to feel the emotions that are present in a song. I will not let go of the hope I have of spreading my message to anybody in need, as I have struggled with depression and mental health issues my whole life. My music has evolved over the years, and it has changed with me. Throughout my struggles, and throughout my journey, I have learned that music can unite people, and that’s what makes music so powerful. I currently am building my image in the music industry to do just that, and as a one man band I want to inspire others who are passionate about music to do the same.

Influences and inspiration

I am influenced by many modern metalcore and deathcore bands that provide that heavy, and powerful feeling live, but I am very influenced by progressive metal bands like TOOL and Animals as Leaders, as play captivating riffs and lyrics, or complex and difficult to play instrumentals that both tell a story.
