February 9, 2026David did an excellent job of providing both background music and karaoke for my boyfriend’s 60th birthday! He accommodated my special song requests for both karaoke and the playlist for background music for when we were eating and mingling. He was an absolute pro at keeping the energy level up for the party! He even let me use extra portable lighting of his when the lighting in the event was not sufficient. My boyfriend and his guests had so much fun and everyone was still talking about the party and thanking me the next day when we all got together to watch SuperBowl! I had several people compliment me on the job that David did and ask how I found him. Of course, I mentioned GigSalad. I would hire David again in a heartbeat if I have another event in the future. November 18, 2019We were part of planning for a 50th birthday party and selected Dave and Raising the Bar Entertainment for some karaoke and music to dance to.
It was a total hit. Dave is an absolute pro. He emcee’d the event beautifully, recorded the event and took a few photos - going above and beyond our expectations. Dave knows how to work the crowd and help keep them on the dance door. He even arrived an hour and a half earlier than planned to set up before dinner began.

With Raising The Bar Entertainment, You can expect a pre event consultation, Confirmation call the day before your event. We arrive at least two hours prior to your event dressed appropriately. We then set up the gear and make sure that all wires are secured and not visible. During the performance we will treat you and your guests with the utmost of respect and get the event rolling. Our extensive library will ensure that most if not all of you and your guests requests are taken care of. After the performance, we will remove our gear and return the performance area to its original condition.

We have experience with all types of parties and events. We leave our egos at the door. You and your guests are our primary concern. No event is too big or two small.
