I was born in Brooklyn, New York and found my way to Los Angeles when I was 20 years old. I've been singing and molding my sound for around 2 decades, taking inspiration from legends such as Janis Joplin, Aretha Franklin, and Etta James. My favorite songs to sing are about love found and/or love lost. I am a songwriter as well and create original music, as well as perform publicly, under the stage name "Rae the Romantic".
