Rachel Pritchett Piano
Overview
I play for weddings, funerals, fundraisers, dinner parties, voice recitals, brunches, church services - just about any event that you would like beautiful music for! I also collaborate with other musicians. My sweet spots are classical (easy listening, opera, piano), jazz, musical theatre, hymns, and holiday/Christmas music, but I am open to learning new things based on difficulty and time. I have played some pop and a 70s set and I am currently working on a Barbie set and Disney songs! Years of performing experience and getting acquainted with different types of music will make me a good fit for your needs!

May 24, 2026Rachel provided a wonderful evening of beautiful music!
Throughout the process, Rachel kept in communication with me. She arrived on time. She was well dressed and perfect for the occasion. Her piano playing was impeccable and she played requests that had beenmade. She provided our dinner with wonderful music and all the members enjoyed it immensely.

April 20, 2026Fabulous again
Rachel was kind enough to return this year for our Moms Weekend event at OU. She played her keyboard piano beautifully during our brunch and silent auction. It was the perfect touch to elevate the ambiance. We received wonderful feedback from the parents on her performance. She is incredibly talented, punctual, sweet, and professional. We would love to have her come back next year if she is available.

April 13, 2025Moms Weekend Event
Rachel did an outstanding job at our son’s fraternity Moms Weekend brunch. She brought her keyboard which was so helpful as we had no idea the last time their piano was properly tuned. Her music was amazing and brought great ambiance to the event. We will definitely try to rebook with her in the future.

What to expect
Imagine a classical easy listening setlist or lush harmonies from jazz’s greatest hits. In the wintertime, familiar holiday tunes of all styles flow from the piano. I have also had wedding couples request hymns and pop tunes so that is something I am very comfortable with! My greatest joy is to set appropriate mood suited to your taste in the background and make people smile. I am also open to learning new music based on difficulty, my availability, and notice. Right now I am working on a Barbie set! I have a Yamaha cp300 keyboard that I can bring if there is no piano and I will come to the event wearing black unless there is a specific request.
About
I have been playing piano for about 25 years and about 10 years professionally! I am highly educated in music; I have two master’s degrees from OCU: one in piano and one in vocal coaching and a bachelor’s in piano from SNU. My solo piano performance background also led me to branch out to playing with other performers, which led me to learn how to play multiple styles! I was classically trained but I am also able to read chord charts and I have a setlists of jazz standards and pop songs. I have also played in church for around 10 years and I am well-versed in traditional and contemporary styles. Providing music for an event is one of my favorite things to do because it brings joy to people and fosters a positive atmosphere.
Additional booking notes
I have a full-size, high-quality keyboard, music stand, and portable bench. If your venue requires that I bring my keyboard, I will need assistance as it has onboard speakers and is very heavy. I am in the process of acquiring external speakers for outdoor gigs.

Influences and inspiration
I loved watching my sister take piano lessons when I was little! I am highly inspired by my colleagues and the musicians around me and the ambition it takes to produce art and impact people. My favorite artists include Alicia Keys, Needtobreathe, Adele, Taylor Swift, and Sara Bareilles.
