Whether you're looking for a harpist to provide background music, a special concert, or educational presentation, I'm the right musician for you. I offer a mixture of soft Classical and Modern music and also carry my own equipment, so there's really nothing I need except for a little space and listening ears!

Since my duo provides such a unique mix of Classical, Latin, and Meditative sounds, I usually offer to include my husband's talents on oboe/pan flutes/Indian flute/guitar in an affordable package, since we love performing together. Audiences always enjoy the duo, but for some occasions, simply Concert Harp might be the perfect fit, depending on what the client prefers.

Rachel Browne was the principal harpist of the National Symphony Orchestra of Bolivia for ten years, where she explored not only Classical music but also delved into the realm of Latin American rhythms and modern music. Having won first prizes in national competitions (of the American Harp Society, the Alliance for Excellence, the Glenn Miller, and others), she has traveled throughout the U.S.A., Austria, Japan, and Bolivia giving concerts. Her husband, who plays oboe, pan flutes, Indian flutes and guitar, joins her on occasion to provide a gorgeous complement to the Concert Harp. Rachel has 20 years of experience playing in special events.

My instrument is acoustic, which means it does not require electricity. This is also true for the duo. Some clients might prefer to amplify us, in which case I would bring my special pickup for the Harp.

I prefer to avoid weather conditions such as rain or direct sunlight, as this might jeopardize the health of the instrument. In outdoor settings, a covered area is usually best.
