All I need is a little space to set up my table and lights. I'll get right onto my first victim as soon as the clock starts and draw til I drop. I have a two hour minimum, and I'll need to get up and stretch once an hour so I actually don't "drop". I always try to get a likeness and be complimentary at the same time. Your guests will definitely enjoy this personal gift from you for years to come.
I got my big break right after graduation from the University of California, at Davis in 1965...where I got a job at Disneyland drawing Pastel Profiles in Tomorrowland! This got me drawing in front of the public and I haven't looked back. I drew at fairs mainly, until In 1986 I met famous Brown Derby Caricature Artist, "Pancho" Willmarth. He taught me the ropes of Party gigs, and got me to join "NCN" the National Caricature Network, now ISCA, the International Society of Caricature Artists, where I really honed my skills. Famous caricature artists from all over the world meet and draw and learn from each other. Wow. Faces are the greatest challenge for artists, I think, and I am very blessed to have drawn thousands of them... For Money! And, I can exaggerate. How cool is that? I think sometimes Caricatures look more like the person than portraits. What do you think?

I got my training at Disneyland, and was later mentored by Frank "Pancho" Willmarth of Brown Derby caricature fame. He also introduced me to ISCA, the International Society of Caricature Artists, where I have been greatly influenced by the likes of Tom Richmond, of Mad Magazine fame. Of course we all were influenced by the great Mort Drucker of MAD Magazine when we were kids.
