Tucky: Art & Caricatures
Overview
Let me start by thanking you for the possibility of hiring me for this job.
What I bring is 25+ years of experience, with degrees in Animation and Illustration, and extensive hands on training from drawing at Discovery Kingdom.
I go into every event with my client in mind. I understand the importance of enhancing the entertainment experience for your attendees.
One of my specialties is creating funny scenes out of how couples and friends met based on the unique stories they tell me; then bring them to life through my drawings.
I will tailor each drawing specific to the attendee and will take special requests.
Look forward to your event!

June 29, 2017Tucky... You're the best!!!!
I cannot say enough great things about Tucky. He was on time, friendly, and always smiling.. He was able to do more drawings that I had anticipated, adding our own personalities to each one. All of my guests requested a business card, because they loved him and his work. Thank you so much for making our event that much more special.!

April 6, 2017Fantastic Artist & Professional
Tucky was absolutely wonderful. He was a true professional. I threw a baby shower for my daughter for about 45 people held in a restaurant. Tucky showed up on time, set up quickly and was ready to go as guests arrived. All the guest raved about their portraits and Tucky's patience with kids (and adults!) I would hire him again without a doubt and highly recommend him.

Tucky was absolutley amazing! Our guests were in awe of his talent and loved watching thier caracatures come to life. He was professonal engaging, and brought such a fun and unique element to our celebration.
The time we booked him was simply wasnt enough- he was so popular that guests were still hoping for thier turn when his shceduled time ended. Everyone was left wanting more!
I highly recommedn Tucky for any event. He was truly one of the highlights of our party. If you book him, I stronlgyl suggest revervinhg him for longer- you will be glad you did!

August 12, 2026Brilliant Artist
We hired Tucky for our recent event and could not be happier. His sketching skills are top-tier, capturing everyone's features perfectly with a fun and creative twist. He worked with a big crowd, including several energetic children, and never rushed a single drawing. Every guest walked away with an amazing keepsake and a smile. If you need a talented, professional, and patient artist for your next gathering, look no further!

August 7, 2026Tucky is the best!
We hired Tucky for our friend's engagement party and he absolutely killed it. He showed up early to set up and by the beginning of the night there was already a long line to get a caricature done. Tucky was very social, asked questions while drawing folks, and then hilariously incorporated a lot of that interaction into the artwork itself. 10/10 would recommend him.

What to expect
I'm extremely easy-going and Professional. I show up early dressed in slacks, a tie, and my trademark black hat unless the Client wants me to dress differently.
I set my easel up wherever the Client wants me to. I just ask for 2 chairs and a nearby outlet for my lights if the venue isnt well-lit. I like to set up at least 15mins before I'm supposed to start, but I can come earlier if requested to.
After that, I start drawing!
About
I've been a Professional Caricature Artist in the Bay Area since 2000, starting at Discovery Kingdom where I worked for two seasons. My background and training in Art gives me an edge over most Artists. I'm excellent at capturing the essence of the person I'm drawing in a fun and unique way.
I graudated from the Academy of Art University with a BFA in Illustrationin 2002. Not only do I make Caricatures but I am also a Fine Art Painter. As a member of the Artist Guild of San Francisco since 2007 my paintings have been sold to people from all over the world.
I look forward to meeting you and bringing my talents to your Event!
Additional booking notes
In the evening time I need to be near an outlet to plug in my lights.
I ask the Clients to provide at least 2 chairs.
If the Event is outside, please have me placed in a shaded area if it's hot. It's not fun for the guests to sit in the sun :).
