September 29, 2024Daniel and co. did a wonderful job performing a range of classical pieces and contemporary covers. They’re also flexible with requests not on their (already comprehensive) set list. We had them perform Crosby Stills & Nash, and they sourced the sheet music and nailed it during the wedding. And they did all that during record breaking triple digit heat. Can’t recommend Put A String On It highly enough!

April 18, 2024My fiance and I come from very different musical backgrounds - she is a trained classical musician while I am much more your classic pop/rock stan. That said, when we saw this group perform, we were both blown away by their ability to play both genres exceptionally well. In fact, we ended up booking them for our wedding this coming fall! Seriously, these folks are great. So far they've been super professional and have a huge catalogue of songs that they're able to play. Most importantly, I know it is super important to my fiance to have top caliber musicians playing as she walks down the aisle (and what's better than a string quartet at a wedding), so the fact that they meet her high standards tells me this was a great find!

From Beethoven to Beatles to Beyoncé, we play it all. We provide top-tier live string music for special occasions, including:
- String quartets for Weddings.
- Larger string ensembles for Corporate Events.
- Violin duets or solo violin for intimate proposals and birthdays.
- Performing with a local DJ for parties and celebrations.
Combining decades of playing experience, our musicians met in the Santa Monica Symphony and hold music degrees from Yale, Syracuse, Northwestern and Cleveland Institute of Music. We’ve performed all around Los Angeles, including Walt Disney Concert Hall, Dorothy Chandler, Royce Hall, Santa Monica Civic and the Fonda Theatre.
While based in Los Angeles, we’re able to travel around SoCal and have performed in Orange County, Palm Springs, Santa Barbara and San Diego.
We bring our own music stands, music and instruments. We typically just require chairs and for larger events, a microphone setup.
Pop songs, Classical, Jazz and more - we have hundreds of pieces of music in our library and can also source other requests that you may have.
