November 24, 2023Santa Roy was patient and great with our grandkids, who range from age 2 to age 14. We have several kids who are neurodiverse in our family, and Santa Roy was able to calmly connect with kids both on and off the spectrum. This was a positive, stress-free Santa experience for our little ones, and we got great pics too!

I am a real bearded Santa, and this is my third year as a professional Santa Claus. Inspired by Kurt Russell’s portrayal in The Christmas Chronicles, I’ve modeled my look to capture that same rugged warmth and authenticity, creating a Santa experience that’s both classic and refreshingly unique.
In my work as Santa, I’ve collaborated with four professional photographers to capture the magic in ways that families cherish year after year. These photo sessions allow me to bring Santa’s spirit to life, providing families with keepsakes that celebrate the joy and wonder of the season.
I’m also a proud member of several Santa organizations, including the World Wide Santa Claus Network, Lone Star Santa's, and Santa's for Christ. These groups keep me connected with other passionate Santa's, helping me to grow and continue sharing Santa’s magic with families.
Outside my Santa role, I’m a children’s book author, writing stories based on my mischievous elf character, Jinx. He’s always up to some holiday fun and lighthearted lessons, bringing a bit of whimsy into the lives of young readers. Each season as Santa, I’m reminded how much joy this role brings—not just to families, but to me as well.

This spirit guides me in my own life and work, where I aim to bring a touch of that magic to everyone I meet. Of all the portrayals of Santa in movies, Kurt Russell’s version resonates with me the most. His Santa is not only warm-hearted and jolly but also carries a strength and charisma that shows how being Santa isn’t just a role; it’s a calling. Russell’s Santa brings depth, humor, and a touch of adventure, showing us that Santa can be a little mischievous too—qualities I connect with and aspire to bring into my own work. Like Russell’s Santa, I want to inspire wonder, laughter, and a sense of warmth wherever I go.
