I come prepared with reliable, well-maintained gear (including instruments I’ve built and set up myself as a luthier), a solid grasp of music theory that lets me adapt quickly to different bandleaders or setlists, and a professional, easy-to-work-with attitude. If you need someone comfortable both performing live and on camera, I’ve got that covered too.

I’m a bassist and luthier based in San Diego with a deep background in music theory and groove-driven playing across funk, MPB, and rock. Beyond performing, I build and maintain my own instruments, which gives me an unusually hands-on relationship with tone and setup. I bring reliable gear, tight timing, and a collaborative attitude to every gig — whether it’s a full band, a duo, or a session date. I also create bass content online, so I’m comfortable performing on camera when that’s part of the job.
