About
Precious Moment Violin Service (PMVS) is an Ottawa-based business that specializes in providing a variety of violin arrangements and string performance for customized events.
The founder and leading violinist of PMVS Essie Liu is a union member of the American Federation of Musicians (AFM). Essie started violin when she was four. She has enjoyed her daily life of arranging, performing customized tunes at different venues and collaborating with diverse artists in all sorts of genres. Essie has played with the Calgary Philharmonic, Calgary Arts Orchestra (Principal Second), Tri-Tone Tap Dance Ensemble (First Violinist), REDL Flute Quartet(Founding Member), Western Symphony Orchestra (Assistant Concertmaster), Kingston Symphony, Niagara Symphony, Ontario Pops Orchestra as well as electric bands.
Essie holds a (link hidden)s in Literature and Performance (Violin) from University of Western Ontario.
