Since the age of 5, she chose to be a nurse, when she grew up…and so she completed a bachelor’s degree in nursing…and later a master’s degree. A Registered Nurse with over 30 years of experience in nursing, managing clinical operations, administration, risk management, and education. She is passionate about caring for critically ill infants, educating clinical staff and patients/families about healthcare and quality care guidelines. A mission to celebrate nurses world-wide led me to guide nurses to be happy, confident and empowered to achieve success in nursing. A love for nursing and commitment to service to the nursing community led to creation of Power In Nursing Innovations, a safe place to share self-care strategies with working nurses, and set a coaching/consulting/speaker forum guiding nurses to manage work-related stressors and maintain their own physical, emotional and mental wellness. She continues to serve and celebrate nurses and promote the growth of the most beloved profession of nursing.
