What to expect
I am a drag performer and comedian for hire. I also have ten years of bartending experience.
I provide the following:
* Walk around Mime
* Drag Content, 1-3 musical numbers (3 to 12 min)
* Walk-around character entertainment for events (I never break character)
* Comedic monologue in full costume (max 20 min)
* Drag hosting for games and events (up to 2 hrs)
* Theatrical Classes for Non-Actors
* Intermediate Classes on Physical Comedy & Clowning(30 min to 1.5 hours)
* Directing Solo shows or Plays
About
Edna Mira Raia is an award-winning comedic writer, self-proclaimed ‘characterress’ and monologuist. She trained in neo-classic mime and clowning and is a graduate of The Second City Conservatory Chicago. She has toured her characters and solo shows nationally and has dedicated herself to writing comedy with a message. Edna is the Artistic Director of Potatoes Mashed Comedy, which produced two full years of monthly sketch comedy shows in San Francisco called 'Edna in a Bottle.'
She performs male and female drag under the name, Tater Tot / Tater Tatas. In 2025, she directed and did dramaturgy for three new plays, including Rebekah Kouy-Ghadosh's "How Many Characters?" which premiered at SF Fringe Festival.

Solo living performers I respect are Carol Burnett, Maria Bamford, and Kristin Wiig.
The SF artist community influences my drag work and persona.
