May 6, 2018I was the appointed "party planner" for my sister's birthday party this year - she just turned 50 so we wanted to do something special. We hired PoppaFunkBand for some live music and they were great! We went with their duo option - I figured this would be best vibe for the afternoon party. Chris and Robin arrived early enough to set up and be ready right on time. They played happy birthday of course - along with a whole range of covers in their own bluesy soulful style. They encouraged the crowd to sing along - which was really fun for our group of family and friends who were all different ages - from kids to grandparents. Thanks to this band our party was a unique and exciting experience. I highly recommend them!

April 16, 2018We have the best experience with Poppa Funk Band. They totally brought the funk to our Saturday Night Fever birthday party. We rented an event space in Manhattan, they arrived early to set up and played 4 sets through the night. The music was amazing, the band was so much fun - a great mix of respectful and pleasant but alway willing to draw a crowd and shout out the birthday girls. I would recommend them to anyone and hope to see them live again. They covered all the best songs, took request and rocked the house! The party would not have been anywhere as good without them!
