Bio – Andrea Garofalo
Andrea Garofalo is an award-winning Italian Operatic Tenor, who brings the house down with his power and passion.
First Place Winner of the prestigious Canadian CHIN Classical Music Awards, Andrea enlisted in The Sistine Chapel Choir at The Vatican in Rome, where he earned the title of “The Golden Voice.”
He has sung with great acclaim at the Hamilton Opera Company, appearing in a wide variety of roles that ranged from the lyric to the dramatic. Favorite Operas include Tosca, La Traviata, La Boheme, Rigoletto, Don Giovanni, and Barber of Seville.
Andrea sings his Pop to Opera© worldwide, has made numerous recordings in Italian, Spanish, French, and English, and has established himself as one of the finest tenors that notably affects and moves audiences with the brilliance and beauty of his tone. Known for his larger-than-life showmanship, this tenor has a gift that awakens one’s emotions, crosses cultural boundaries, and ultimately, expands the popularity of opera.
