From concert halls to art galleries to weddings to classrooms, Anne is passionate about bringing the inspirational sound of the cello, the instrument most similar to the human voice, to audiences everywhere. The principal cellist of the North Port Symphony was unable to participate in the concert we were performing at the Epiphany Cathedral in Venice on March 2nd. Anne graciously agreed to play, sight reading all the music. It was fantastic! We were delighted & very grateful to have this extremely talented & versatile musician help us out, especially on such short notice.

About
Anne is grateful to have many opportunities for high-profile collaborations for events, tours, residencies, and concerts in the US, Europe, China, and Canada. Some of these collaborations have included a tour with Kanye West, performing for George Lucas’s ranch wedding, and numerous recording and performance projects with artists like Sting, Chicago, the Eagles, Radiohead, Third Eye Blind, and the Fifth Dimension. Anne has appeared as soloist with symphony orchestras, is a winner of several national and international competitions, and is a founding member of award-winning chamber ensembles. Anne started playing cello at age four with her mother, a talented cellist and teacher, and was also coached by her father, an acclaimed violinist. Anne continues in the tradition of her parents by teaching a studio of students ranging in age from 4 to 80. She is passionate about bringing her music to schools, frequently giving outreach performances inspired by her children’s book titled The Magic Cello Case. Anne moved to Sarasota, Florida from California, where she was studying for her doctoral degree at UCLA. She has a Master’s Degree from San Francisco Conservatory and a Bachlor’s Degree from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, where she double majored in English and studied abroad at the Sydney Conservatorium. Anne is currently on the faculty at the Sarasota Music Conservatory and is accepting new students as well as event bookings. CellOM!

As an acoustic musician, it is extremely easy to accommodate my set up requirements. I need an armless chair and shade if the event is outdoors.
