I had the absolute pleasure of attending an event at the yacht club in Marina del Rey, where a talented violinist performed a stunning set of classic 70s music. From the moment he started playing, his beautiful, melodic interpretations of iconic hits from the era captivated everyone in the room. His skill on the violin was nothing short of impressive, bringing a fresh, elegant twist to well-loved tunes. Whether it was the soulful strings of a Stevie Wonder classic or the upbeat energy of a Santana song, he made every note come alive, perfectly matching the luxurious setting of the yacht club. The performance was a true highlight of the evening!

I strongly advise against using Poetic Moor. The abrupt cancellation of your services five days prior to my wedding saddened me.We were in a very tough situation to find another solution because of the timing of this cancelation, which made an already hectic period much more stressful. Poetic Moor told me that he had to cancel the event because of my "last minute" adjustments. Asking him to play half an hour sooner and selecting ceremony music from the playlist he supplied were the “last-minute adjustments”. The playlist he gave me required him to "relearn" the songs, which was absurd.
Interacting with him was quite difficult. A number of times during our interaction, there was confusing or delayed communication. He left several messages marked as "read," and never responded.
After reading his previous review, which revealed that he was forty minutes late and played the same note throughout the ceremony, I'm relieved that we avoided that issue. I even compromised and requested him to play the music he liked. At first he compromised, but then he refused to return my calls or texts and sent me a refund of my deposit without providing a reason.
I am disappointed by the lack of flexibility and willingness to compromise. I DO NOT recommend Poetic Moor. Please consider alternative options

He just started playing no introduction
Didn't say anything. He didn't engage to the celebrant and guests, he just played like no one is there

Dear Kare,
hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to share my thoughts on my recent experience at the venue.
When I arrived at 11:45am I noticed that no one greeted or engaged with me, even though I was present while people were setting up. Unfortunately, I couldn’t shake the feeling that my presence was not fully welcomed. It felt as though the color of my skin might have influenced how I was perceived, which made the environment feel cold and isolating.
I want to believe this wasn’t intentional, but as someone who values creating inclusive and respectful spaces, I felt it was important to share this perspective. A small gesture of kindness or acknowledgment could have gone a long way in making the experience more positive.
Thank you for taking the time to listen. I hope this feedback can help foster a more welcoming atmosphere for everyone in the future.
Warm regards,
Deldric Bratcher
