The guests arrive to the party, excited to have an amazing night.
The first sounds they hear are classic jazz melodies on the piano. As the party gets going, they hear a Broadway song they requested. Everyone suddenly starts singing spontaneously! Soon others are throwing out requests. The pianist cheerfully joins in, playing and singing along. As the night drifts to a close, the music becomes quieter and more contemplative. Since it’s the holiday season, the sounds of Silent Night drift through the building.
Live music instantly adds excitement and class to any event. I’d love to add my magic to yours!
I’m a working NYC pianist orginally from Idaho. I moved here 25 years ago to play keyboards for the Big Apple CIrcus, and fell in love with the city!
I’ve played parties for Kathleen Turner, Robert De Niro, The Nederlander family, The Eastman family, and many others.
I’m on recordings with Elvis Costello, Debbie Harry, Natalie Merchant, The Jazz Passengers, and others. I also have 3 jazz records on the esteemed Sunnyside label, and a pop EP out, co-written with Byron Isaacs of The Lumineers.
A piano is preferred. In tune, hopefully! I can bring my own keyboard for an extra charge.
A microphone and speaker is helpful for any speeches.
Again, I can bring those if needed.
