Overview
The Backup girl is a singer/songwriter who was formally trained in classical piano. Will perform a variety of background piano music for cocktail parties, birthday parties, anniversary receptions, corporate events, street fairs, nursing homes, hospitals, shopping malls, lounges, and hotels. Experienced with soft rock, pop, contemporary, country, and inspirations music. Has a soft touch and adaptable to diverse audiences. Flexible in providing own quality electric piano or willing to use a well maintained piano provided by client.

I own a small hotel. Kayla used to play the piano in the lobby. All of the guests loved hearing her play. Her style is graceful and pleasing. The music she played was timeless and attractive to people from all walks of life and varying age groups. I would highly recommend Kayla for playing at banquets, anniversary/wedding receptions, shopping malls, corporate events, parties, etc. We would love to have Kayla come back to the hotel and entertain us.

About
The Backup Girl has a diversified American repertoire. She was trained in classical piano during her formative years. At some point in live, most grade school children go through a phase of aspiring to become an American Country Music Star. The Backup Girl spent many days writing music and singing to the fence posts, cornfields, cows, fish, toads, and mosquitos while riding a horse through the backwoods and farm land where tractors and sport utility vehicles couldn't go. The Backup Girl currently serves as one of the instrumentalists for a church in the heart of the corn belt.

Upon request, The Backup Girl will provide a quality electric piano for a gig. If the client is providing a concert grand piano or electronic keyboard, I would appreciate some time prior to the event to warm up and become acquainted with the instrument.
