Hi, I'm phowler, and for more than 20 years I've had the privilege of entertaining audiences through live music. Whether I'm performing completely solo with professional backing tracks or fronting a live band, my goal has always been the same: create an unforgettable experience that keeps people talking long after the last song ends.

I'm a Southern Soul singer-songwriter whose style blends soul, blues, R&B, gospel, rock, pop & country into a sound that's both familiar and uniquely my own. My biggest influences include Otis Redding, Stevie Wonder, Allen Stone, Al Green, Anthony Hamilton, Teddy Swims, Chris Stapleton, and Jelly Roll, but rather than trying to imitate them, I focus on delivering every song with my own voice, heart, and personality.

I've been singing since I was three years old and performing for live audiences for over two decades. During that time, I've entertained crowds in churches, restaurants, bars, private parties, community events, livestreams, and countless other settings, learning how to read a room, adapt to different audiences, and create an atmosphere that fits the occasion. Every audience is different, and I pride myself on knowing when to bring high-energy excitement, when to slow things down, and when to simply let a great song speak for itself.

One of the biggest compliments I receive is that I don't just sing songs—I make people feel them. Technical requirements vary depending on the size and type of event. To ensure the best possible performance, I'll need to know as early as possible in the booking process what sound, lighting, staging, and power accommodations will be available at the venue. If the venue already provides a PA system, microphones, monitors, lighting, or an on-site sound engineer, I can typically work with those resources. If equipment is not available, I can arrange to rent and provide the necessary sound and/or lighting equipment with sufficient advance notice. Please note that equipment rental, transportation, setup, and any additional production needs may require an adjustment to the quoted performance fee. Discussing these details early helps ensure a smooth setup, avoids last-minute surprises, and allows me to deliver the highest-quality experience for you and your guests.
