What to expect
What to Expect When You Hire Me
As an event planner, you need a performer who’s not only talented, but dependable, professional, and easy to work with. That’s what I bring to every booking.
I arrive early, fully self-contained, and ready to go—no complicated tech setup needed. I’m optionally battery-powered, which means I can perform in virtually any setting, whether it’s a cozy living room, a backyard garden, or an off-grid location without power access. Wherever your event happens, I can meet it with ease.
Musically, I deliver a soulful blend of romantic ballads, country classics, bluesy slow burns, and heartfelt crowd-pleasers. My repertoire includes songs by Chris Stapleton, James Taylor, Van Morrison, John Berry, Rascal Flatts, The Bee Gees, Joe Cocker, Elton John, and more. I tailor each set to the occasion and know how to read a room to create the right atmosphere—intimate and emotional, light and breezy, or somewhere in between.
I use vocal and guitar looping to build a rich, layered sound that feels full while still staying personal. Everything is professionally mixed for clarity and warmth—because I believe great music should feel great and sound even better.
If you’re looking for a performer who takes your event seriously, connects with your guests, and delivers music with genuine heart and polish, I’d be honored to be part of it.
About
At 40 years old, I made a decision that changed everything. After a long and steady career as an IBEW inside wireman, I realized it was time to stop ignoring the thing that had always been tugging at my heart—music.
Up until then, my musical background was mostly limited to a high school garage band and the occasional church choir. I’d always owned a guitar, but if I’m being honest, it was more of a decoration than an instrument—leaning against the entertainment center and gathering dust. I didn’t really start playing until later in life, when I finally committed to the craft. I started woodshedding hard, and while it didn’t come easy at first, within a year I found myself able to play nearly any song in any key.
Around 2004, I made my way to Nashville and started getting steady work doing demo vocals in studios. I spent those years networking, co-writing, and finding my voice. That path eventually led me to my dear friend Jimbeau Hinson—a Grammy-nominated songwriter—who helped co-write most of my solo album, A Piece of My Soul, which we released in 2006.
Not long after that, life called me back to North Georgia to care for my aging parents. I continued performing regionally as much as I could, but as my mother’s dementia progressed, the gigs became fewer and farther between. When COVID hit, my role as caregiver turned into a full-time, 24/7 commitment. At the end of 2024, I lost both of my parents. Becoming an orphan later in life brings its own kind of reckoning, and I’m slowly finding my way back to what I was building.
During those quieter years, I didn’t stop creating—I just changed gears. I built a full production studio in my home, where I now record and produce not only high-quality audio but also multi-camera performance videos for solo and duo artists who want to promote themselves professionally. It’s been a deeply rewarding way to stay connected to music while helping others advance their own careers.
But now, I’m ready to get back out there myself.
I’m a solo acoustic performer with a voice that leans soulful and expressive—part country, part blues, and all heart. I use loopers in a way that’s different from most, stacking vocal harmonies and rhythm to create a fuller sound that still feels intimate and genuine. Whether it’s a romantic house concert, a proposal, a private party, or a therapeutic performance for a memory care group or recovery center, I aim to connect and leave people feeling something.
If you’re looking for an artist who brings life experience, emotional depth, and the kind of soul that only comes from truly living, I’d be honored to perform for you.

Technical Requirements
If the venue or client is providing sound reinforcement, all I need are two direct boxes (DI) to connect to your PA system. No microphone or amplifier is necessary—I’ve got that covered on my end.
When I’m providing sound indoors, I require access to 120V AC power. Please note that I do not provide stage or performance lighting.
For sound coverage, I use:
• A Bose L1 Model II with two subs for rooms up to approximately 500 people
• One or two Bose S1 speakers for smaller rooms or more intimate settings
• These can run on optional battery power when electrical access is limited
My setup is clean, efficient, and quick to load in—perfect for planners who need dependable sound without a big production footprint.
