PHAT Joe

My first time hiring anybody on gig salad.
They did an amazing job keeping us entertained. I will definitely hire them again for feature events.

I’ve known Joe for over 20 years, both as a friend and a peer in comedy. We’ve shared the road together, and I can confidently say Joe is one of a kind. Beyond being hilarious, one quality that separates Joe from 99% of comedians is his loyalty.

Joe is loyal to comedy itself—he’s passionate about improving his craft, and he truly cares about every show he’s on. He arrives early, stays late, promotes the event, and can do it all: MC, feature, or Headline (trust me, you want him as your Headliner).

He’s also kind to the wait staff, management loves him, and he always looks out for everyone. Joe knows it isn’t just about him—it takes a team effort to make a show successful, and he understands and respects every part of that process. That professionalism makes him stand out from the rest.

From personal experience, Joe always has your back. If there’s ever an unruly heckler, he’ll step in to support management and wait staff without hesitation. That’s the kind of comedian and teammate he is—loyal, professional, and absolutely hilarious.

I’ve booked him at every venue I produce shows for, and he’s never let me—or the audience—down. He headlined Comedy Night at The Post in Modesto on August 16th, and absolutely crushed it. His timing is sharp, his material is hilarious, and his crowd work is next-level.
Beyond the laughs, Joe is a producer’s dream: professional, punctual, and 100% dependable. He brings the kind of energy that elevates the entire lineup. If you’re looking for a comic who delivers every single time, PHAT Joe’s your guy.
