Peyton is a speaker and advocate against teenage drinking and driving and peer pressure. She speaks on surviving trauma and brings awareness of the importance of trauma services.
At 16, Peyton defied the odds after surviving a horrific car crash at the hands of a drunk teenage driver. Peyton suffered life altering injuries and wants other teens to know about the dangers of peer pressure and consequences of "one bad choice". Peyton Grasso is certainly an example of triumph and courage. She is brave and determined and committed to sharing her message. She has been dealt many human hardships and she has vowed to take her experiences and teach others to be true to themselves and make the right choices. This child lives a life of chronic pain and obstacles, yet carries a smile on her face and a mission in her heart to warn others and give them the gift of choice and strength. Her spirit and heart and beauty carries her through each day and she is blessed with a loving family and friends. I have worked with Peyton at two school campuses and she has brought a message of wisdom and choice and hope each time she has shared her story. I pray one day she is free from pain...I know she will achieve whatever she sets her mind to and I know she has already changed the life of a student whom she has never met.
