Pet Portraits and Fashion Illustrations

After we agree to work together and the deposit is paid, I will ask for more details about your event.

I will be in contact about a plan for your guests -- often I bring a sign up sheet, and can work from photos texted to me, or I will take a photo of the guest that I will hand-paint with watercolors and inks.

If you'd like me to create a bespoke background with any event info or branding, we will work together on the design. I will send a sketch for approval. And then a final print version before I print them.

I arrive 15 minutes early to set up. I require a small table and 1-2 chairs. I will bring all supplies.

Your guests can mingle and enjoy the event, and then receive their art when it's ready. It usually takes 7-9 minutes for me to make one portrait of one guest. Add a few extra minutes for each additional portrait subject.

Laura Baran is a New York based painter and illustrator whose figurative expressionism explores identity, community, and spiritual connection. A graduate of FIT with a BFA in Illustration, she received the Effie Bowie Award for Excellence in Painting from the Society of Illustrators.
