About

Perennial Collection is a vibrant ensemble of top musicians from central Virginia, led by guitarist and bandleader Dylan Farish. Anchored by a core group but enriched by a deep bench of seasoned players, the Collection brings fresh energy to every performance—ensuring no two shows are ever quite the same.

Known for their dynamic vocal harmonies, rich arrangements, and genre-blending versatility, Perennial Collection covers decades of music with a style that feels both familiar and new. Their repertoire spans R&B and Soul classics, Pop anthems, old-school Hip Hop, and a touch of jazz. By blending the technical with the accessible, the group creates fresh arrangements of popular songs that will please the ears and move your feet.

Drawing inspiration from artists like Dua Lipa, Stevie Wonder, Amy Winehouse, and TLC, the group delivers performances that are joyful, danceable, and impossible not to sing along with.

At the heart of the ensemble are vocalists Sarah Ditulli, Joy Kuhar, and Genevieve Baer, whose powerhouse harmonies shape the group’s signature sound. They are joined by an all-star lineup of instrumentalists: Haywood Giles on saxophone, Michael Lemke on drums, and Gabe Planas on keys, with Dylan guiding the band’s direction on guitar. Formed in 2024 but years in the making, Perennial Collection grew out of Dylan’s long history of collaboration and his passion for creating music that balances sophistication with accessibility. The band’s name reflects its mission: honoring timeless traditions while embracing the ever-evolving landscape of popular music.

In a short time, Perennial Collection has already made its mark with standout shows at venues including Eastwood Farm & Winery, Stinson Vineyards, Glass House Winery, Common House, Batesville Market, Blue Mountain Barrel House, Patch Brewing Co., Hardware Hills Winery, Henley’s Orchard, Devil’s Backbone, Knights Gambit Winery, Superfly Brewing, and more. Wherever they perform, the group brings a sense of celebration, connection, and timeless groove.
