Penny has been an artist for most of her life, with a focus on portraits. This translates beautifully to her successful work as a caricature artist, who now brings her talent to the GigSalad community.

When Penny draws for parties and events, she creates cartoon versions of your guests with minimal exaggeration and engages with them to make them comfortable and ensure they’re having a good time. She draws them in a way that makes them want to hang their pictures at home and fondly remember your event for years to come.

With the addition of the optional Doodle Booth, she has offered a means of drawing a larger crowd in a quicker manner, with each “doodle portrait” taking less than 2 minutes per person! With the smaller sizes and the fun, interactive booth, Penny’s Doodle Booth has added a wildly popular option to her caricature offerings.

Penny is now an empty nester and enjoying living in downtown Cary with her beloved dog, Macy, who often follows her downtown to draw on the weekends. Her upbeat energy and dependability will make her a great entertainer for your event!
