Born in South Central, Los Angeles to a single parent raising 3 kids. His mother mother was a waitress for a family owned soul food restaurant for 30 years. Payne knows struggle and unity. Playing football, basketball, tag football, street football and hanging in the garage watching his big cousin and his homeboys recording is when his passion for rapping started and what kept him from gang banging and out of the jail system

What happen after he heard that music. Payne spent the next three years of his life in the studio and hustling with a homeboy making money. Pushing his mix tape titled "Before and After". Making his own music, beats Picking out "the one" He would then write, record, and rap. Also doing his own production, mixing and mastering. Taking classics he grew up hearing his mom listening to and incorporating that into today's sound his rapping being compared to 2pac and a new west coast.

Payne Theory has a lot of material as of today: 5 albums, 100 songs. Currently Independently recording, mixing, and mastering in Encino Hills, CA. Payne has given his CD to Big Boy, Lazie Bone, Ice Cube, Dj Quick, Xzibit, Glasses Malone. Interscope records, Manny and many more in In hope of recognizing a real artist and not passing on him.
