For longer shows, I book showcases. I'll host, emcee, and book some of the best comics in Pittsburgh for your show. Sets run 30-90 minutes.

I prefer to perform PG-13 material, but I am happy to accommodate PG, family performances, and R rated shows. Since every crowd is different, I always consult with my clients to understand their expectations when it comes to sensitive topics or content. Ensuring your guests have a great time is my top priority, so feel free to talk to me about material.

Paulie Stags is a comedian and musician based in Pittsburgh, PA. He plays to the top of his audience’s intelligence, leaning into subjects like science, philosophy, and ancient history. With an unassuming irreverence and abundant use of misdirection, he follows false logic to unexpected and hilarious conclusions.
He has been featured on Don’t Tell Comedy, Erie, Nerd Nite, Pittsburgh, and works as a performing arts instructor and director. He is the piano accompanist and a regular performer at Johnny on the Rocks, a Pittsburgh comedy cabaret. He has also been known to produce the occasional mockumentary or culinary video on his YouTube channel.
In addition to comedy, Paulie is also a performing arts instructor and director. He has classical and jazz training in voice and percussion. He plays steelpan and can fake it ok on the piano.
