Paulie Stags is a comedian and musician based in Pittsburgh, PA. He plays to the top of his audience’s intelligence, leaning into subjects like science, philosophy, and ancient history. With an unassuming irreverence and abundant use of misdirection, he follows false logic to unexpected and hilarious conclusions.
Paulie has been a featured standup on Don’t Tell Comedy (Erie and Pittsburgh), Roast Battle League (Pittsburgh), and presented a comedic crash course in music theory for Nerd Nite (Pittsburgh). He is the piano accompanist and a regular performer at Johnny on the Rocks, a Pittsburgh comedy cabaret. He is also produces the occasional mockumentary or culinary video on his YouTube channel.
In addition to comedy, Paulie is a performing arts instructor. He teaches voice and theatre. He can also fake it pretty well on the piano.
I do not provide mics, a PA,or sound equipment.
