Paul Martin is an acoustic solo musician and singer/songwriter based out of Sierra Vista, Arizona. Playing guitar, ukulele, and harmonica, he sings songs from the 30’s through the 2000’s. Paul provides a fun and engaging program with a variety of oldies, folk, folk-rock, soft-rock, and contemporary popular songs that most people know… and often enjoy singing along to. His performances include some original songs that are passionate and heartfelt. You can relax and listen to oldies, tap your feet to popular cover tunes, dance to a little rock & roll, or sing-along to those memorable songs you know and love. You can always expect an engaging and fun time!
Paul was AWESOME! He was perfect for our small backyard family party for my dad's birthday! Great musician all around! Singer, guitarist and we really enjoyed the harmonica too. Paul was also great to work with. Fast to respond and communicated well with any questions we had. He brought a fantastic playlist with something for everyone. He even wrote an original and personalized birthday song about my dad. It was awesome! I would highly recommend Paul to everyone!
Response from Paul Martin:
Becky, it was an absolute pleasure meeting you and all your family. It was a joy performing for everyone. You were all very engaged in the music, with adults and children dancing and singing along. Thank you for being so friendly and welcoming! It was a real joy for me to meet and perform for everyone. Thank you for the booking, your kindness and your generosity!
We had Paul provide music for a large-ish baby shower and we could not have been more pleased. Never having used music for an event like this before, I really didn't know what the flow should be. Paul was intuitive, very aware of the people in attendance, and did exactly what needed to be done. His playlist crossed generations. We accepted tons of praise on his behalf :-) Perfection!
Paul was amazing! Such a pleasant person and a wonderful and talented musician. He played for our wedding reception in Bisbee, AZ and the family was dancing and singing along. The kids loved joining him on stage to sing songs as well. It was really perfect.
Response from Paul Martin:
Thank you for the opportunity to perform at your wedding reception and be part of your celebration. Carolyn, her husband Dan, and their family and friends were a delightful group to play for. Everyone was very friendly, the children were terrific performers, and the venue in Bisbee was wonderful! Thank you, Carolyn!!!
Paul played for Hotel Tucson City Center and we love him! He interacts with the guests and is very pleasant to work with.
Response from Paul Martin:
Thank you Shawn & Maria! All the staff at the Hotel Tucson City Center were welcoming, professional and friendly. The facility with the olympic pool, the bar and restaurant, was a beautiful venue for playing music. The guests did enjoy a variety of music oldies, folk songs (many requested), soft rock, and other popular covers. I had a blast! Thank you!
Paul Martin was the perfect choice for our father's 95th birthday celebration. Song choice was spot on for this venue and Paul's professional service was greatly appreciated! Gigsalad .com made it easy. Thank you, Paul!
Paul entertained at a dinner party that I had for a friends 70th birthday. He knew all our favorite songs, encouraged our participation, was a good entertainer, very professional but still lots of fun....definitely a hit with my guests.
Response from Paul Martin:
Thank you for the opportunity to perform for you and your guests. It was my first gig through GigSalad.com, and it was a very positive experience. You and your husband, and all your guests were ever so welcoming. It was wonderful to play for such an engaged and interested audience! I had a blast!

I will create a musical program to meet your wishes based on genre, era, or other requests for your event that fits within my repertoire. If you wish some laid-back instrumental music to listen to, or maybe, as a sing-along… traditional, folk, folk-rock, soft-rock, maybe some original songs - love ballads, uplifting songs? You can expect passionate and heartfelt music, and an engaging and fun time!
I perform as a solo singer-songwriter singing songs from the ’30s and ’40s through today. With guitar, ukulele, and harmonica I provides a fun and engaging show with folk, folk-rock, soft-rock, oldies, some country, blues, traditional, and heartfelt original songs.
If you want dance tunes, songs for singing-along or some smooth ballads, I have a song for you!
Ideal venues are cafes, house concerts, community events, birthday celebrations, and other private parties.
I have all my own sound equipment for 100+ people. I would only need a reliable power source (electrical outlet) and lighting.
