January 30, 2023Paul is an amazing musician! I have hired Paul to play at our annual volunteer celebration (a roughly 200 person event) for the past 9 years! His sound is timeless and his ability to play multiple genres and read the crowd to meet the mood of the event and its guests is phenomenal. I get complements every year from staff and guests about how much they love the music. Working with Paul is very easy. I know that he will show up on time, he is very professional, brings his own equipment, and is very reasonably priced. He will play throughout our event, and I can coordinate with him to help make announcements or stop playing when I need him too with ease. I really cannot say enough good things about Paul. So many of our friends kept telling us how much they loved his set list. He knew how to gauge the sound for the perfect ambience and the size of our party. January 12, 2023I can go on and on about what a great acoustic musician Paul is! I always love hearing his voice and enjoying his music. I have hired Paul for a handful of my 4th of July parties and my wife and I also hired him to perform at our wedding and at our son’s first birthday party. He always seems to amaze us with his performance and songs. Always love hearing his originals and of course his covers which are done perfectly with his own style/flair. Life long lover of music with a passion for performing renditions of my favorite songs. I began my journey of a troubador way back in the 1900's :) when I wrote my first song (1999) and played it at a local open mic. The song is called "Oliver" and it won a songwriting contest! I went on to release two original albums (won 2 more awards) and my career had begun. Since then I've played countless venues up and down the southern California coast. I've had residencies at the Beverly Hills Hotel at the prestigious Polo Lounge as well as in resorts such as the Montage, Surf and Sand, and the Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel.
I offer a song for everyone at the party as I play tunes from Paul Simon, Neil Young, and the White Stripes to Dave Matthews, Jack Johnson, and the Beetles. People often comment how diverse (and delightful) my setlist is. I use top of the line PA gear and my sound is professional and well-refined.
