Paul Frazier has either performed, written or produced music with Nile Rodgers and Chic, Taj Farrant, Amel Larrieux, Digable Planets, Arrested Development, Idina Menzel, Grace Weber, Shawn Colvin, St. Vincent, Chaka Khan, Sharon Corr (The Corrs), Renee Fleming, Michelle Lewis and Norah Jones and more. Paul is most known for his work with David Byrne of the Talking Heads for 17 years. He’s recently been working with Americana/jazz singer Madeleine Peyroux, Indie soul artist Redray Frazier, Americana artist Walter Parks and the Unlawful Assembly, singer/songwriter Toby Lightman, Soul R&B artist Maya Weiss and rock group, The Bogmen.
Paul was a member and co-founder for the Epic/550 group the Funky Poets. This experience helped him learn about the music business by working closely with the head of A&R, David Massey, who was the president of Universal. Paul’s original song was hand picked by Michael Jackson in the movie “Free Willy”. That led to his getting music on other shows and movies such as the HBO series “Oz”. He was the co-founder and CEO of music label called Greystone Music Group. Paul realizes the importance of finding new talent and helping develop those who show promise. His knowledge of the business along with his musicianship and production skills in most genres, are instrumental when working with new and established artists.
