Pablo Lanouguere is a live-looping bassist who turns one musician into a full band — live, for your guests. With double bass, electric bass and loops, he builds bass lines, chords, melodies and groove layer by layer, covering pop, rock, soul, jazz standards and Latin/tango in one set.

We had Pablo play at our Festivus event with a specific Seinfeld / New York theme and he was great! He was easy to communicate with, played a custom playlist and songs to cater to our event and added a fantastic element to the evening.

About
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Pablo Lanouguere is a double bassist and electric bassist based in New York City. He is a regular performer at Faena Hotel NYC and has performed at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, National Sawdust and Bryant Park, among many of the city's leading venues. As a bandleader he leads the Pablo Lanouguere Quintet (albums "Eclectico" and "Altar") and is a founding member of Abaddon, a traditional tango sextet; his theater credits include productions at Thalia Spanish Theater and Teatro SEA. Grant support includes the Cafe Royal Cultural Foundation and NYFA's City Artist Corps. He holds a degree in Jazz Music from the Escuela de Musica Popular de Avellaneda in Buenos Aires and a master's degree from the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College.
