Paul Decker

Good Day and Hello….
My name is Paul Decker (aka: Small Paul) and I am a local musician in the Michiana area. I have been a fulltime working musician for over 40 years and I am currently booking for the first half of 2024 (January through June) and would appreciate you considering me for your venue.
I have an extensive amount of experience playing for any size crowd/venue and offer not only SOLO engagements (which is my main reason for contacting you), but also two different duets (one with Craig Ridout on sax and the other with Ed McKibbin, singer guitarist, which adds a whole different flavor to the song lists with some great country choices).
I also have a trio/quartet available (The DIFFERENCE) for more of a “party” atmosphere and song list which includes R&B and great Pop/Rock choices.
I currently perform at Rocky River, LaSalle Grill & Tap, Howard Park Public House, Jackson Rooftop, Four Winds Casinos (South Bend & New Buffalo), along with Elkhart Jazz Fest each year for the past 9 years running.
I have opened such Pop/Rock greats as Chuck Berry, John Entwhistle, Steve Smith (of JOURNEY Fame), and Donnie & Marie Osmond, and warmed up for jazz greats Frank Gambelli and Ronnie Laws.
My range of repertoire is very diverse, and I perform all types and genres of music guaranteed to please just about any age demographic. From Billy Joel to Elton John, Pop, Rock, and R&B to Ballads and Specialty tunes, there’s something for everyone. I own my own PA and lighting (if your venue does not accommodate said items), and I can tailor the sound/lighting requirements to accommodate audiences ranging from 50 to 250 in size.
