Paul Cafcae: The Oldies Show
Overview
Everybody loves Oldies Music: the younger crowd thinks it’s cool and retro, and the older crowd lights up the second they hear it.
It doesn’t start any “I hate this song” debates. It’s the kind of music that brings a whole room together.
And Paul Cafcae truly stands out: with a 3.5-octave vocal range, virtuoso guitar skills, and a vast treasure trove of stories about songs and musicians, Paul has earned his fame as a truly top-quality entertainer for events all over Canada.
Are you craving some Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash, Ricky Nelson, The Everly Brothers, Roy Orbison, Eddie Cochran, The Beatles, Nancy Sinatra, Willie Nelson and more? Paul's your guy.

Paul is a professional for sure. We had an outdoor family party with a wide-ranging demographic. Paul has a great sound and playlist... and even went a little offscript to please some of our guests. Great entertainer. We would highly recommend him.

About
Paul knows how to hit the sweet spot: energy that fills the room without drowning conversation. His setup is minimal: just a 5×5′ space and a single power outlet, but with his 3.5-octave vocal range and virtouso guitar playing the impact is big!
Specializing in the golden era of rock ’n’ roll (1950s–60s), Paul also weaves in country, blues, and pop. Even when playing modern songs or his originals, he reshapes them in a vintage style that feels right at home in his repertoire.
In his one-person theatrical show, Paul shares fun stories about the songs and their artists, musical comedy and personal anecdotes from his life in the USSR, USA, and Canada, often seamlessly embedded into the songs. Guests don’t just hear music: they enjoy a performer who makes them feel part of the show.
Venues like Boston Pizza (Parry Sound), Uncorked on Main (Georgetown), Block 3 Brewing Co (St. Jacob’s), Cork and Bean (Oshawa), Bar on Broadway (Orangeville), Lou Dawg’s (London) as well as recurring corporate and private events book Paul as often as on a monthly basis because his performances bring people together and give them a reason to talk about their experience for weeks.
Additional booking notes
