July 23, 2018We hired Patrick for my 40th birthday which was an outdoor event in our backyard. Patrick was fantastic...his repertoire was extensive across classic rock, country and anything in between. After a couple of hours, some amateur singers from the crowd decided to join Patrick which he welcomed and encouraged. The crowd loved him, he played well past when we scheduled him for and most importantly, I had a phenomenal, memorable birthday party. Patrick really made the party - I would hire him again without a doubt!

Patrick will arrive early to set up and sound check, and will take your requests for hours! You and your guests will be delighted by all your favorite rock, pop, blues, folk, and jazz songs.
Patrick McCarthy lives in Central Massachusetts and currently performs regularly at several fine local restaurants and lounges. In addition, He has played all variety of functions: fundraisers, block parties, car shows, corporate events, graduations, social club gatherings, wedding receptions and more. Patrick plays all your favorite musicians: James Taylor, The Beatles, Eagles, Neil Young, Van Morrison, Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonder, George Gershwin, Duke Ellington, and much, much more!
Patrick will tailor his performance to the show at hand: When performing at fine restaurants or luncheon events, he plays mostly jazz and mellow classic rock. When he plays at bars, parties, and outdoor events, he leans toward more rock and blues. Patrick loves to take your requests!
Patrick will provide a complete Bose PA system, fit for any occasion and any size room. Generally he will arrive at least 45 minutes prior to the show to set up and sound check.
Whatever your live entertainment needs, once you book Patrick McCarthy you'll have great music, happy guests, and no worries!
Patrick requires only a standard AC power outlet and will provide all necessary equipment. You may use Patrick's PA system and microphone should your event involve speeches or announcements.
