Pass The Bar Event Services

I hired Pass The Bar Event Services for my wedding. Raychele and her team were absolutely fantastic! The drinks were so good. I will be using their services again!

Service was okay. Did not do all the things I requested. Family members had to do things that they didn’t. Bartender was on her cell phone the entire time, but stayed and served drinks all night at her station. Server was friendly, worked hard (during dinner time,) but went outside after the dinner and took smoke breaks and talked on the phone often. She disappeared frequently. The owners are very nice people, and very easy to work with. Great customer service. I had a bad experience, but I don’t think it would happen to everybody.

There were several elements that were disappointing.
The bartender arrived 40 minutes late. The event began at 9. The bartender arrived at 9:10.
I made several inquiries about a portable bar. I was assured the bartender would provide a portable bar, instead she bought a table. The serving space would not accommodate a full table, therefore, we had to set her up at my food table. Due to the late arrival and set up, the bartender did not begin serving until close to 10 pm.

The bartender did not provide ice for 18 people. One of my guest had to leave to go and get ice at 9:30.

The contract provided condiments as well as supplies. The bartender did not have shakers, she bought limes. There were no additional condiments.

Lastly, my husband had to speak with the bartender about leaving the area without warning. After the discussion, she did let us know when she was leaving.

Overall, I was very hurt and disappointed with the service provided and professionalism displayed during my event. Due to the policy at Gigsalad, I was not able to contact Raychell or Nadia to resolve any of these concerns the night of the event. I was subjected to waiting for email responses at 9:00 pm when the bartender had not arrived.

I have yet to receive a phone call from Pass the Bar or Gigsalad about the number of challenges that took place with my event.

The waitstaff and bartenders did a wonderful job at my wedding and I'd definitely hire them again for a big event. They helped clean, pack things up, serve food and drinks and anything that we needed. The owners were friendly, personable and easy to work with.

I was over all impressed with the professionalism and prompt action of the owner and the service industry employees. We only had 1 issue and it was handled pretty well. The bartender got sick during the shift and our wedding planner stepped in to make sure our guests were taken care of while she gathered herself. Everyone did exactly what was requested and helped make our wedding memorable. Thank you and I will recommend Pass The Bar to others for their events.
