Pallavi Gunalan is a stand-up comedian, writer, actor, improviser, and biomedical engineer. She performs all over, from colleges to companies to clubs and backyards. She loves the challenge of making any and everyone laugh and tours all over the US and India. She's performed in festivals including Netflix is a Joke, SF Sketchfest, Big Pine Comedy Festival, and New York Comedy Fest. Pallavi's opened for Jay Leno, Arsenio Hall, Maria Bamford, Michael Ian Black, Adam Conover, Moses Storm, Preacher Lawson, and Todd Barry, and was a Laugh Factory Fresh Face. She's also been featured on Dropout TV and written for Lovett or Leave It with Crooked Media. Pallavi currently co-produces Facial Recognition Comedy, a monthly stand-up and touring show featuring women of color, with a residency at The Comedy Store in Hollywood, a Clubhouse Creator's First series, and a podcast that has been highlighted in The New York Times and Splitsider amongst other publications. An expert comedian, host, and improviser, no matter the gig, Pallavi is sure to be professional, funny, and leave you wanting more.
