What to Expect
I am a one woman show. My acts start off with a verbal communication with the crowd, to gain their attention and rally excitement. Each act is unique to an events needs so no two shows are alike. For example a show may request snakes and swords while another wants an all fire show. I will develop a show based on your timeframe and requests (both prop wise and music). My longer acts may include short breaks to engage with the crowd (especially those that run over 30 minutes), while shorter acts have small segments of interaction between sets, usually only a few seconds. All weapons and fire props I use are real steel, carbon fiber and kevlar. No tricks here! My performers liability insurance covers my entire act including fire sets.
When hired, you can expect a professional show along the lines of the qualifications discussed during hiring. I am comfortable running shows ranging from upbeat and whimsical to dark and moody and everything inbetween. I will draw up a contract outlining all the details that you the client need in the show, as well as my needs based on what type of show you've selected (fire safe location for fire shows, 12ft cleared area for dragon staff, dim lighting for LED acts, etc). I have the ability to run my entire show with minimal intervention, with an exception of my fire safety whom is required for all fire shows (this means I can bring my own sound system, stage barriers, prep station, meals, etc, of which will be discussed at time of hiring).
I am a mountain town girl with a dream to spread my love of technical prop work, dance, and circus everywhere I go. I started my art form in 2007 where I began training as a belly dancer. From there I picked up training with my scimitars and working with snakes. In 2016 I took my next step into variety shows by joining Gypsy Layne Cabaret and Co burlesque troupe as a resident dancer and sword worker. In 2019, I began working with fire and flow props, building my own one woman circus show showcasing a variety of acts including fire fans, dragon staff, fire eating, snake charming, and more.
When I'm not training or working an event, I enjoy spending time with my dog and my snakes, gardening, and cooking.
