Performance Details:
Kelvia can add any of the following options to her performance: Wings of Isis, Sword (single, double or FIRE sword), veil, fan veils, candles (balancing Tray/ open flame- FIRE EATING) and of course Saidi or Dabke Assaya (cane) dance! The performance will include audience participation as well as interaction. Kelvia's goal is to ensure that everyone is up dancing and having a great time!!

You can hire Kelvia for Weddings, Bridal Showers, Belly Blessings (baby showers), Children or Adult birthday parties, Corporate Events, Cultural Festivals, or even fundraisers.... (sorry no all male events).

Kelvia Mitri-Meda is a multi-award-winning professional Oriental dance artist, choreographer, and coach, and the Founder & Director of the Middle Eastern Dance Academy of Connecticut (MDA)—the state’s leading professional training ground for belly dancers and folkloric performers. Kelvia brings her music on an Ipod. Client should coordinate with their event DJ prior to the event, to ensure that they bring an AUX cable hook up for the ipod to connect to.

For more intimate family events where a DJ is not hired, the Client should provide a sound system with strong volume that hooks up via an AUX cable. Bluetooth set ups are not the most reliable for these types of events.

In instances were a Client does NOT have a DJ nor a sound system, they should inform Kelvia so that she can bring her own portable equipment. Kelvia will need a minimum of 24hrs notice to make arrangements to bring her travel speakers. The sound system will require an electrical outlet to plug into. The client is responsible for providing a space where an outlet is available for use.
