Onyx Strings

We will arrive dressed to perform with our own music stands shortly before the start time. We will tune, and then begin performing to the specifications of the event. The quotes are the same for continuous playing, or intermittent performing over the same period of time (for example, different parts of a wedding procession after the initial 30 minute prelude).

Professionally trained musicians with combined experience and degrees ranging all the way up to doctoral music performance at Florida State University. We've been performing for wedding ceremonies, birthday parties, dinners, and church services all over Florida and Georgia for years. Members of Onyx Strings have performed with the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra, the Panama City Orchestra, Albany Symphony Orchestra, Valdosta Symphony Orchestra, as section or principal musicians. We pride ourselves on sourcing the most fitting arrangements and preparing them meticulously to ensure that your event is unforgettable.

If the venue is outdoors, be aware that we will not perform during rain without adequate rain sheltering. If the event gets rained out, the fee will be recalculated using the time performed (excluding the nonrefundable deposit and travel/rush fee).

You are more than welcome to record parts of, or the entire performance from your event, and unobtrusive microphone rigs are permitted.
