Oniya performed at the annual Earth Day Festival at Genoa Park. It was nothing short of amazing. She handed out flowers to a bunch of kids, taught them dance moves and completely stole the show! The crowd was captivated. We will be booking her next year!

Hello! I'm Oniya Bassett.
I'm a Columbus ambassador and lover of beautiful experiences.
I've spent years discovering the places that make this city feel welcoming, peaceful, inspiring, and unexpectedly magical.
Along the way, I've been honored as a Future History Maker Award Winner for civic impact in Columbus and have represented the city through pageantry, fashion, and community leadership, including being a finalist in the Miss Black Ohio America Beauty Pageant, serving as a delegate in the Miss Shawnee & Miss Portsmouth Scholarship Program, and receiving a Model of the Year nomination during Columbus Fashion Week.
Now I help others experience Columbus the way I do, not just as a place to live, but as a place to savor.
