Clients also get professional sound and lighting provided as part of the performance. I bring the equipment needed to deliver a polished presentation, so you don’t have to coordinate multiple musicians, a sound company and lighting separately.

I’m Jesse James Armijo, a full-time professional musician and One Man Band specializing in creating the energy and sound of a full band—completely live and performed by me.

With more than a decade of professional performance experience, including years playing throughout Austin and performing regularly on Sixth Street, I’ve built my career around entertaining real audiences in real-world event environments. I’ve performed hundreds of shows for private parties, corporate events, festivals, weddings, celebrations and nightlife venues, including high-profile events and performances connected with professional athletes and major music events such as SXSW.

What sets my show apart is my live looping performance. I don’t simply press play on backing tracks and sing over them. I build the music in front of the audience, layer by layer. I can create rhythm guitar, percussion, bass lines, additional guitar parts and vocals in real time, transforming one performer into a complete live band.

The result is a high-energy, interactive performance that gives your guests the sound and excitement of a full band without needing a large stage, multiple musicians or a complicated production setup.

I also provide my own professional sound and lighting, allowing me to deliver a polished, complete entertainment experience from setup to the final song. I understand that when you’re hosting an important event, you shouldn’t have to worry about whether the entertainment will be professional, prepared or capable of handling the room. My goal is to make the music one less thing you have to worry about.

I provide my own professional PA sound system and stage lighting for performances, so the client does not need to hire a separate sound or lighting company.

My setup is designed to be flexible and can accommodate indoor or outdoor events, depending on weather and venue requirements. I can perform in a variety of spaces and do not require a large stage.

I typically need a safe, reasonably level performance area with access to standard electrical power. For outdoor performances, the performance area should have appropriate weather protection and a safe location for electrical equipment.

Setup and sound check time will vary depending on the event and performance requirements. I handle my own equipment setup, sound, lighting and breakdown.

If the event has specific production requirements, venue restrictions or special technical needs, I’m happy to coordinate those details with the event planner or venue in advance.
