Although Bee was born in a small town in Southern Ohio, she has lived in Southern California for most of her adult life. From 1974, Kathy Bee has been performing with a variety of groups, who toured the U.S and Canada, including Kathy managed and was the featured lead vocalist of multiple groups in the late 70’s to date.
Throughout her career, Bee has opened for numerous entertainers and celebrities, including Bob Hope, Rufus Tomas, Crystal Gayle, Della Reese and even President Bill Clinton (to name a few). However musical theater has always played a special place in Kathy’s heart.
